weekend 5/28/2007 01:55:00 PM

Last weekend went to Navy Open House with Adolf. Took the free shuttle from Expo. Expo there also damn crowded. Haha.

The open house quite nice. You will be able to q up to board the ship and experience how the crew survive inside for months on sea. Their canteen, toliet, captain deck, all quite nice. Got chance to sit on the LSU out to the open sea. Shiok lah.

We stay til 6 plus in the evening before we went to cathday for dinner. Then go tcc and crew for some drinks.

After that we went watch midnight show for the pirates 3. The show not bad lah. But got a lot of people picking bones out of egg. Haha. Finding troubles with it.

Then after that home sweet home.

memory test 5/18/2007 10:09:00 AM

memory test

try it... quite accurate i think...

below are my results...

Part 1: Spot the difference – visual recognition memory

-You got 1 out of 3 photos correct.

Part 2: Memory binding – colours and animals

-You were able to remember the details of 4 animals.

Part 3: Numbers – digit span

-You remembered 9 numbers.

Part 4: Patterns – grid squares – visual working memory capacity

-The largest pattern you were able to remember had 20 squares.

Part 5: Everyday objects – coin and stamp

-You didn't remember which way the Queen's head faces on a pound coin.
-You did remember which way she faces on a 1st class stamp.

Part 6: Spot the difference – delayed recall

-You didn't spot the change.

Part 7: Sentences – working memory span

-You were able to remember the final words of 4 sentences at once, in the correct order.

Part 8: Man and ball – spatial manipulation in working memory

-You managed to answer 9 questions correctly out of 9 in 30 seconds.

Part 9: Remembering to do things

-Your answers suggest that your ability to remember events from the past is better than your ability to remember to do things that you had planned to do.
-Your answers suggest that you're better at keeping track of what you are doing moment to moment than remembering things over longer periods of time.
-Your answers suggest that you're equally good at remembering what you need to do whether you have an external cue (eg diary) or not.

Mad World- Gary Jules 5/15/2007 10:16:00 AM

this is a nice song...

All around me are familiar faces
Worn out places, worn out faces
Bright and early for their daily races
Going nowhere, going nowhere
Their tears are filling up their glasses
No expression, no expression
Hide my head I want to drown my sorrow
No tomorrow, no tomorrow

And I find it kinda funny
I find it kinda sad
The dreams in which I'm dying
Are the best I've ever had
I find it hard to tell you
I find it hard to take
When people run in circles
It's a very, very mad world mad world

Children waiting for the day they feel good
Happy Birthday, Happy Birthday
Made to feel the way that every child should
Sit and listen, sit and listen
Went to school and I was very nervous
No one knew me, no one knew me
Hello teacher tell me what's my lesson
Look right through me, look right through me

And I find it kinda funny
I find it kinda sad
The dreams in which I'm dying
Are the best I've ever had
I find it hard to tell you
I find it hard to take
When people run in circles
It's a very, very mad world ... world
Enlarge your world
Mad world
