I was on board of this bus this morning. The moment I board the bus I felt no air con at all on this single deck air con bus.

I sat down and wonder why the bus depot itself will despatch a bus with spolit air conditioning to the roads? If there are insufficent buses, I think despatch a non air con bus will be good, as at least there are circulating air for the passengers. I certainly don't mind sitting on a non air con bus.

Anyway, as more passengers board the bus, they all start complaining about the heat and staleness of the air inside the bus. Some passengers start fanning themselves with papers and looked around if others are feeling the same.

The bus continues all the way til upper thomson road where a auntie passenger cannot stand the heat and request the captain to open the front door while she drove to allow air circulation. But according to the bus captain, it will be against the rules to do that.

Therefore she declare the bus broke down along upper thomson road (outsider faber garden) and start refunding the passengers and giving out the free one ride ticket.

Some passengers began quarreling with the bus captain and other passengers. About he might be late for work or why not ask the captain declared the breakdown at the macritchie resevoir, as there are more buses for transfer.

All these aside, I think the main fault lied before the start of the journey. How come no one check if the air con is working or not before despatching the bus out from depot? And caused so many unhappy incidents to the passengers? Who is in charge of the air coditioning anyway?
